ARE THE COLORS IN THE PHOTOGRAPHS OF YOUR WORK ACCURATE?

The accuracy of color images on a screen is problematic. If this is extremely important, there are several options. You could purchase the item and return it (at your expense) if the color is not satisfactory. If you have time, I could send you samples or you could obtain them from Bullseye Glass. (In my opinion, not even the color swatches on the Bullseye Glass website are accurate.)

Learn more about Classes.

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR CLASSES?

Available Public Classes will be listed under Announcements. Private Classes can be scheduled individually. Class size minimum is Two (2) students; maximum Five (5).

COVID-19 NOTE: There will not be any public classes scheduled until restrictions are lifted.

WHAT CAN I MAKE IN YOUR CLASSES?

There are many factors which will determine what you can make in my classes, including your previous experience with cutting glass and the duration of the class. The shortest class will be 2 hours; the longest 2 8-hour days either sequential or 1 week apart. Students also work at very different speeds. Because I have to travel to Portland for drop-molded pieces and blown pieces, class projects will be work that can be completed in my studio.

Generally beginning students can make plates and bowls in the 6” to 8 “ size range in a 2-hour class that includes learning basic glass-cutting skills. Children can make pieces the same size using materials that do not require any cutting; in 1-2 hours.

A Rollup is a collaborative piece of fused glass that is then blown by a glass blower. The initial panel must be specifically designed and fabricated to be made into a rollup. Then, I work directly with the glass blower as the panel is rolled into the final shape. [Check out the Process on Youtube]
