COMMISSIONS
I Love Commissions!
Let me create a custom piece or a custom set just for you! Commissions may be based on duplicates of pieces in the store, may be based on designs, shapes, and colors reconfigured to what you want, or they can be something you design in collaboration with me.
Great for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and gifts for all occasions!
Step 1
Reach Out
Fill out the Contact Form, select “Commissions” in the subject drop-down, and describe what it is you are interested in having me make.
Step 2
Consultation & Quote
I will call you to discuss the project further. If you are requesting a size and shape that is shown or that I have made in the past I should be able to give you an estimate of how long it will take to make the project and what it will cost at this point.
If what you are requesting is something I have not made before, I would need the size and shape specifications you want. From this information I could decide about feasibility and provide a cost estimate. A sketch or picture would be very helpful. The timeline would need to be flexible. I may need to make a prototype with materials on hand to test before making your piece(s).
step 3
Samples (optional)
If precise colors are involved, bear in mind that your computer/device may not give you an accurate color representation. Getting actual color samples from Bullseye will get around that problem.
If you are local you can also schedule a Studio Visit, and I can show you the colors I have in stock. I can obtain any colors you want from Bullseye for your project.
The samples are 2” squares, and are either 2mm or 3 mm thick. Which thickness will make no difference for opaque colors, but if you are selecting a background transparent color, I would suggest getting one 2mm and 2 3mm samples, so that you can see the affect of different thicknesses of that color. For darker transparent colors, just one sample of each thickness will be sufficient.
step 4
Production & Delivery
Once all the details are settled I get to work in my studio. I fit commissions into my schedule, so the timeframe can vary greatly, but I will provide you a time quote before work gets started.
If a commission requires materials that I do not have on hand, additional time to complete your project will be necessary.
As soon as the work is completed, your commission will be available for pick-up, or we will arrange for shipping directly to your door.
